- Take a bus. There is no direct bus, you must stop first in Tizimín or Colonia Yucatán and from there take a second bus to El Cuyo.

There is only one ATM in El Cuyo – Yucatán, it does not work most of the time and very few places accept credit cards/USD, we recommend bringing cash. At Cucu we accept cards and USD.
(2) BRING YOUR SPECIAL FOOD
There is no supermarket in El Cuyo, only small food stores with the basics. If you want any special food or drink, we recommend you bring it.
(3) get ready to POWER cuts
They are common in El Cuyo. Cucu is taking all precautions to reduce these inconveniences as much as possible, but do not rule them out.
(4) fuel up your GASOLINE TANK
There is only one gas station in El Cuyo little harbor, it can run out of fuel. If you drive to El Cuyo, stop at the gas station in Colonia Yucatán or Tizimín.
